Sourcing Manager (FTTx/Fiber)

POSITION NAME Sourcing Manager

SCOPE OF WORK

Responsible for sourcing large dollar volumes of Fiber (FTTx) services and solutions.

Conducts RFQ/P with supply chain for project opportunities and drives to target costs.

Develops and negotiates fixed price packages to help maximize cost savings.

Negotiates supplier contracts terms/conditions and evaluates supplier performance and quality.

Creates and implements programs that drive supplier strategy and ensure effective supplier diversity.

Works with Operational Delivery Units to ensure best practices are communicated and followed.

Responsible for supplier on boarding to program management which controls cost and ensures operational excellence through governance and change order control.

Works with Engagement Practices (business development) and Operational Delivery Units as well as Customer Unit Sales Teams to develop an effective supply chain to support the business.

Coordinates scopes of work with Delivery Units and works with Legal to develop Task Orders.

Provides leadership to lower level Strategic Sourcing and Delivery personnel.

Ability to maintain supplier database and report present program status/metrics to senior management.

Teams with other roles in the organization to achieve desired results.

Collaborates with Senior Management of Suppliers to develop positive and profitable relationships.

Must be a skilled communicator, negotiator, and adept at handling conflict resolution, being able to mediate when problems arise.

Must possess an exceptional degree of verbal and written communication skills, be comfortable working in a team environment, and being comfortable working in a Matrix organization.

Must be highly efficient, organized, and able to work well under pressure with strong interpersonal skills.

Must have experience negotiating and managing contract terms/conditions.

Must have experience related to FTTx Services.
