Sourcing Manager

Sourcing Manager required for a top UK bank to assist in the development of category strategies effectively driving cost out through demand management, mitigating risk and improving performance. Reporting into the Senior Sourcing Manager, the Sourcing Manager will collaborate with Supplier Management to forge and roll out an appropriate supplier governance structure to ensure effective contract handover.

The ideal Sourcing Manager will meet the following essential criteria:

Supplier selection, negotiation and management skills
Knowledge of contractual terms and conditions involved in supply contracts
Proven example of successfully leading sourcing projects resulting in driving cost out, reducing risk and building competitive advantage
Experience of the sourcing life cycle gained in a financial services setting (preferable)
