Sourcing Manager

SOURCING MANAGER NOVATO, CA CONTRACT OPPORTUNITY

You will effectively negotiate contract terms, conditions and pricing; establish service level agreements that hold suppliers accountable for performance. Additional information about this role will be provided upon the next steps of your consideration.

COORDINATE WITH MANAGEMENT TO:

- Ensure business requirements are incorporated into sourcing strategies and corresponding supplier statements of work.
- Prioritize contracts workload and support activities.
- Provide input and analysis in response to management inquiries regarding contract and spend related matters.
- Ensure timely and professional contract support.
- Cultivate and develop effective relationships.
- Conduct financial and market analysis of supplier products and/or services.
- Effectively integrate and coordinate program and practices with business, legal, and finance to ensure.
- Establish and maintain adequate controls.
- Ensure compliance with governmental regulations and partnership contractual requirements.
- Utilize best business practices.
- Advise senior management regarding sourcing strategy and planning.
- Contribute to team through best practices, continuous improvement, and mentoring.
- Lead cross-functional project teams.

EXPERIENCE WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

- 4 year degree or CPM Certification
- 4-6 years contracting and sourcing experience
- Demonstrated experience concluding on complex high dollar service agreements
- In-depth knowledge of contract types, sourcing methods and procedures, performance incentives, contract law and procurement tools
- Highly effective interpersonal and technical skills
- High business and communication skills
- Confident presence in person and phone
- Strong analytical skills (qualitative and quantitative bid evaluation)
- Excellent negotiation and strategy skills
- Innovation for sourcing and contract strategies; leads negotiations teams effectively through complex negotiations
- Ability to proactively identify and address key bottlenecks and constraints
- Detail oriented
- Ability to deliver results on time
- Strong experience with a diversified range of products and services
- Understanding of external market assessments and economics for best pricing and service mix for goods and services
- Work schedule: standard (M-F 8:30-5)
