Sourcing Business Partner

An immediate opportunity has arisen for an experienced Sourcing Business Partner to join our client, a leading financial services company based in London.

Key responsibilities of the Sourcing Business Partner will include:
-Supporting the HOP to influence the commercial agenda within their BU in relation to 'make versus buy' decisions and providing procurement consultancy and advice
-Raising the profile and selling the benefits of effective procurement processes and the Global Sourcing capability within the BU
-Obtaining relevant commercial information from the strategic planning process and Change/SI Portfolio to feed into category plans/Global Sourcing agenda
-Reviewing the quality, commercial impact, risk profile and operational impact of deals for their BU and ensuring an effective hand over from Global Sourcing into BAU service management is performed
-Representing the HOP and their BU at relevant Global Sourcing and business forums

The ideal Sourcing Business Partner will possess the following attributes/skills:
-Advanced stakeholder management expertise
-Strong networking skills at senior managerial level
-Previous experience in managing multi disciplinary teams
-Sound organisational awareness to implement solutions in an efficient and effective manner
-Comprehensive understanding and knowledge of banking products and services
-Working knowledge and understanding of PCB structure and processes
-Advanced understanding of Group STP, MTP, RAF and SI processes
