OVERVIEW:
Responsible for supporting the sourcing process which entails developing, issuing and evaluating RFx events, development of contracts and associated negotiations, spend analytics, e-sourcing and supplier management. Qualified candidates must have the ability, skill and relevant experience to negotiate product or service agreements. This position requires understanding of, transaction procurement, the end-to-end sourcing process and supplier management process. Candidate must possess superb analytical skills and communication skills to influence various business units. This position will also support a number of strategic initiatives including, but not limited to IT hardware.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Supports project teams throughout the sourcing process for basic projects.
Adapts sourcing process to particular needs for intermediate projects.
Adapts both quickly and resourcefully to shifting priorities.
Investigates and adopts best practices from both within and outside of the organization.
Challenges past assumptions to ensure that processes and outcomes are continuously improved.
Makes effective use of data, concrete examples, or visual aids when making presentations.
Ensures he/she understands the needs, concerns, and perspectives of others before attempting to persuade or influence them.
Has an understanding of the stake holder's current level of engagement with Sourcing.
Accurately scopes out the length, difficulty and requirements of tasks and projects.
Works with Sourcing team members to identify the people and other resource requirements needed to get the job done.
Breaks down work into process steps, develops schedules as needed.
Conveys written and spoken information clearly, concisely, and in a timely manner.
Has some experience in presenting to a various levels of audiences.
Seeks opportunities to collaborate, even when their own viewpoints may not align with others.
Proactively shares updates and information with others.
Ensures that appropriate resources are used to gather information.
Demonstrates creative skills in gathering and evaluating data, organize information and perform cost/benefit analysis.
Develops and demonstrates basic understanding of assigned category.
Facilitates team and supplier meetings - demonstrates knowledge of facilitation techniques.
Serving as first-point of contact for all supplier requests.
Developing and assisting with negotiations and interpretation of contractual obligations.
Stays focused on making sure standard practices are followed in a cost-effective manner.
Supports and leads negotiation on basic contracts for products or services involving single entities, or basic products/services.
Evaluates supplier performance on clearly established criteria and facts.
Actively participates and supports in negotiation and conflict resolution processes.
Contributes to the effective resolution of conflicts by gathering a wide variety of supportive information in preparation for the negotiation.
Is an integral part of multiple management reviews, including presenting, planning and data preparation.
Collate and run analysis on all required Supplier data (Sales, Product Lifecycle and Financial Analysis etc.)
Prepare and coordinate Supplier Business Review Meetings
Compilation of regular reports, prepare and update information on online reporting tools.
Share supplier information on internal Intranet and through SharePoint
Position will be working with data analysis from suppliers regarding sourcing/procurement SKILLS:

EXPERIENCE:
Candidates must be able to articulate well and have the ability to communicate cross culturally.
2 - 4 years experience of Procurement in a mature function in a similar or related industry (Retail, QSR, Hospitality) Ideally IT category experience. POS and Hardware knowledge a plus.
Excellent Excel (VLookups, Pivot tables, Macros), Powerpoint and Word skills. EXCEL EXPERIENCE REQUIRED.
Educated to degree level or equivalent
Relevant Procurement qualifications desirable (eg CIPS)
General proficiency with basic Sourcing tools specific to job (eg Bravo)
Main thing manager is looking for: Heavy data analysis
Advanced with excel, large amounts of data
Business insight, data analytics, spend analytics
Sourcing experience preferred, but not required
Someone with client facing experience (internal and external stakeholders)

NOTE: Business Analyst skill sets can also be applicable in lieu of specific sourcing knowledge (data analysis, requirement gathering, communications).
