Sourcing Administrator Job

SOURCING ADMINISTRATOR needed for a contract opportunity with Yoh's client located in Grain Valley, MO.

THE BIG PICTURE - TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS

- Bachelors degree in engineering or business
- Strong proficiency with data analysis and desktop tools
- Prior experience working in a supply chain function

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Obtain vendor quotes/proposals and issue purchase orders for parts and services
- Negotiate price, delivery and terms and conditions for assigned purchases
- Issue purchase orders from approved requisition queues
- Obtain timely vendor PO acknowledgement and promise dates
- Monitor and expedite vendor part shipments to maximize on-time delivery
- Monitor open order queue and coordinate team actions to close PO lines in a timely manner
- Monitor invoice holds, resolving each in a timely manner as to reduce lost discount risk
- Maintain supplier and item data within ERP systems
- Collect supplier approval documents such as letters of integrity and non-disclosure agreements
- Drive activities in support deflation and cost saving for client project spend
- Effectively and efficiently report status to management

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Quick learner, high energy, self-motivated, strong sense of urgency
- Ability to work within a globally dispersed and diverse team
- Experience with ERP systems (Oracle, SAP, People Soft, etc ) on Purchasing Module.
- Strong proficiency with data analysis and desktop tools
- Prior experience working in a supply chain function
- Familiar with Buy-to-Pay systems
