I am seeking a senior level Project Manager with an Insurance/ Solvency II background, to join my financial client inCanaryWharf, to lead multi million pound Solvency II implementation projects across EMEA. The role will be focused around the insurance market and in particular around the Solvency II space.

As the senior Project Manager, you will be managing the delivery of several Solvency II software implementation projects ranging from data mapping, modelling o assets and liabilities, calculation engines and reporting projects.

This is a permanent role based inCanaryWharf-with a salary of £70,000- £80,000

The successful candidate will be joining a fast growing team within a top tier global consulting firm with opportunities for development and for driving challenging and rewarding projects to successful outcomes. The position may require approximately 30 - 40% travel to client sites within the EMEA region which will be expensed.

This is an excellent opportunity for a project manager, potentially currently working in Insurance of financial software environment related to solvency II/ regulatory capital projects, who currently feels they are not getting the exposure or responsibility they want. Requirements

* Extensive project management experience in an insurance environment or financial software organisation related to Regulatory Capital projects.

* Experience in planning complex multidisciplinary projects in a global and multicultural organization.

* Solvency II exposure gained in an Insurance company, a consultancy firm or a Software engineering company

* Exposure to life and/or non life

* Familiarity with existing regulatory requirements (e.g. Solvency II directive)

* The ability to actively oversee and manage all Functional Requirements, Functional Specifications, Technical Specifications, Test Plans and User Acceptance Testing for assigned projects.

* A strong client focused orientation with the drive and enthusiasm required to achieve results and assume customer satisfaction.

* Strong education BSc/ Masters
