Solvency II - Data Analyst

My client is a leading global finance institution with a long and reputable history. They are currently in the middle of a Solvency II programme and need to ensure compliance therein.

My client is looking for Data Analysts to work on the data work stream of their Solvency II programme. My client is looking for a number of analysts able to help them understand what data is available, how reliable it is and how it can be best accessed and analysed for the purposes of delivering compliance with Solvency II. You will be used to building business requirements from relevant information gathering whilst also being happy to be hands on in your approach.

In terms of experience, my client is looking for Data Analysts with a strong knowledge of data governance frameworks as you will be working closely with IT. It is also essential that you have experience of developing data quality processes, methods and outputs and can therefore input into the technical provisions estimation process. You will also have experience of the standard formula and the estimation process and application to the PRA. You will also be very familiar with actuarial reporting processes from IFRS to Solvency II and the actuarial components of the ORSA.
