Solvency II Actuary

Solvency II Actuary - Pay rate of £700- £1000 Per Day - London - Global Insurance Leader

My client is a global Insurance organisation in need of a talented Solvency II Actuary to assist in Solvency II related activities.

Please note if you have substantial experience as a Solvency II Actuary within large global blue leading companies please apply and contact me ASAP.

Solvency II Actuary activities will include including - Quarterly calculation of Technical Provisions.
Assist in the creating an efficient and effective solution to Pillar III reporting on the Actuarial templates, in line with market best practice, working with the Pillar III team to ensure consistency across the QRT output.

Solvency II Actuary Experience required:

* Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Mathematics/Actuarial Science
* Qualified member of an Actuarial Institute
* Proven proficiency in actuarial concepts/methodologies
* Proficiency in reserving software eg ResQ
* Knowledge of SAS and VBA advantageous
* Ability to communicate to variety senior stakeholders within the business
* Ability to forge relationships with other areas of the business
* Ability to work under own initiative, be proactive and show flexibility to meet business needs
* Ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritise own work
* Professional behaviour with high level of integrity
