ROLE: Solutions Design Lead

SKILLS: Solutions Design Lead - Global Payments - Online Channel - London or Glasgow - Up to £620 per day

OVERVIEW:

Our client, a major UK retail bank, requires the services of a Solutions Design Lead, who has previous e xperience within payments and Retail Banking. The role is required to meet the resourcing demand of the OCT Project to support the Global Payments business in the Design of the Strategic Online Channel.

CORE DUTIES OF THE ROLE:

- The Solution Design Lead will be responsible for the Design of the Global Payments changes related to the introduction of the Strategic Online Channel.
- Identify changes to the GP Operation Model in line with project and operational standards
- Working with the wider project management team, own the delivery of the GP requirements to agreed business plans within cost and timescale objectives.
- Implement a Stakeholder engagement model to ensure GP are adequately represented within the Project
- Manage day-to-day Design activities of the project and scope which includes interaction with IT and other Business Teams, assessment of Change Requests, responding to requests for information and clearly communicating timelines to the Project Team and the Programme Team
- Financial Services experience
- Knowledge of BACS, CHAPS, Domestic and International Payments and Faster Payments Process flows and Life cycles.
- Stakeholder Management
- Excellent communication skills and an ability to build strong working relationships with a diverse range of other parties eg Business Stakeholders, IT, Industry
- Prepared to challenge existing practices and approaches and drives business improvement.
- Commitment to delivering results
- Experienced in Business Process re-engineering and delivering TOM.
- Proven record of delivering significant Business change.
- Experienced Project Manager

DESIRABLE SKILLS

- Knowledge of Bottomline Technologies WebSeries product
- Project Management skills
