Solutions Architect/ITIL/COBIT/C4ISR/NATO/SC Cleared/Mons/Belgium
Rate: €400-500 per day
Location: Mons (Belgium)
Clearance: NATO/SC Cleared
Duration: 3-6 months (Initially)
Requirements
*Manage the fault rectification process between level 3 and 4, NCI Agency to Industry;
*Assist the transition of CIS services from the procurement phase into the in-service phase of the life cycle;
*Assist the configuration management, change management and implementation management processes for CIS systems;
*Monitor the availability of the CIS service through co-ordination with NCI Agency SMC SL;
*Co-ordinate with the Agency Software Asset Manager (SAM) and Hardware Asset Manager (HAM) to ensure all NCISG in-garrison CIS assets are managed in accordance with the NCI Agency IT Asset Management (ITAM) process;
*Co-ordinate and manage the cross service line engineering support;
*Assist the Management of the service requests from submission through to fulfilment.
Essential Skills
*Experience in planning, design, system engineering and implementation of communication aspects of C4ISR systems;
*Experience, at least five years, covering the following technologies and disciplines:
*Modern digital communication networking techniques, protocols and standards; communication networks specification, design and testing, with an emphasis on IP Networks, including IPv6, QoS;
*Communications infrastructure and network service management and control;
*Modern Enterprise Service Management and Control techniques and standards;
*Certified in at least one of the following:
*ITIL at Intermediate level
*COBIT Foundation
Desirable Experience/Skills
*Methodologies and tools for communication networks analysis;
*Knowledge and recent experience of Business Process Design;
*Design and documentation of communication systems and services;
*Prior experience of working in an international environment;
*Experience in managing R
*Proven ability to initiate and successfully develop new business;
*Understanding of security considerations in commercial or military communication systems.
