Solutions Architect

An exciting opportunity is available in Parma/Italy for a Solutions Architect with very good written and oral English language skills.

This position is with an IT company working at a client in the Public Sector.

We are looking for candidates with the following profile:

- Minimum 2 years of experience in requirements analysis and performing current state system analysis;
- At least 8 years of experience in design, development and delivery of application architecture solutions
- Good knowledge in application architecture and solution development with JEE (J2EE) or .NET;
- At least 2 years of experience performing conceptual and technical designs, including the use of Object Oriented Analysis and design techniques, SOA, BPM, ECM notices, interfaces and reports.
- Other necessary skills: ORM (Hibernate, NHibernate, EF); MVP or MVC patterns; common OO design patterns; ITIL and COBIT best practices.

Tasks:

- Provide Technology Solutions Development and Integration across the Systems development life cycle (SDLC) including requirements, functional specs, design, custom development, integration, testing, and development;
- Translate requirements into client ready design documents including UML models;
- Data migration from the client applications;
- Interfaces with the client applications:
- Provide to Oracle any necessary details on the target systems which are to be integrated;
- Review and comment the "Functional Specification" document provided by Oracle;
- Review and comment the "Technical Design" document provided by the Oracle;
- Design the Data files as per the Data mapping document provided by Oracle;
- SSO of Oracle HCM Cloud (Active Directory Federated Service configuration);
- Liaise with Oracle to agree on the activities to be done by the client to activate the Single Sign-On configuration of HCM Fusion;
- Legacy IT Tools phase-out: perform Business and Technical analysis of the phasing-out of the following Legacy IT Tools: EDB, Staff Recruitment Tool, ERT, EST;
- Bandwidth: Assess the impact of the usage of Oracle Fusion HCM Cloud on the client bandwidth.

The working language is English. Knowledge of Italian is a definite Plus.

This position is offered as a short term freelance contract for 2-3 days per week in Parma, for a total of 45 days of work. The foreseen start date is in July/August.
