Solutions Architect

The SOLUTION ARCHITECT will be responsible for the elaboration, development and implementation of the solution architecture for an Information Management System solution. The architect will develop the architecture vision and the business, application, information, integration and technical architecture, working closely with the solution vendor and within the constraints of the selected product.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

- ldentify and map the current state architecture and technical environment
- Define the architecture vision and strategy
- Develop the goal state architecture for the application/information, integration and technical architecture Develop architecture artefacts including models from process and sequence diagrams to information models and application matrices
- Document the IMS Solution Architecture
- ldentify architectural gaps for resolution through Program
- Work with the Program Manager (Technical and Design) and vendor to resolve these gaps through Program work packages as required
- Maintain currency with technical innovation and solution developments to assist in maintaining a best practice approach to the solution
- Act as the product technical and architectural Subject Matter Expert (SME)
- Oversee configuration of the solution by vendors and health ICT staff as required . Monitor and review vendor and health ICT deliverables for accuracy, quality and alignment to the solution architecture
- lmplement architecture and technical delivery quality control processes
- Participate in the selection of other technologies as determined by the Committee
