Solutions Architect

Our client is currently looking for an experienced Solution Architect to be responsible for architecting and designing overall solution for both internal and external applications.

IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL BE:

- Ensuring technologies used in IT solutions are aligned with the organisations overall ICT strategy by understanding the strategic requirements, developing governance processes and architectural blueprints and communicating to relevant parties
- Provide technical leadership in solution design that will meet business needs within financial budget
- Present and translate solution design to software developers to successfully implement the design by providing guidance and technical expertise
- Establish and maintain sound commercial relationships with the vendor support teams by engaging vendors in the problem solving process

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCED NEEDED:

- Strong experience as a Solutions Architect within an application driven environment
- Proven background in business and software solutions design and integration
- Strong web experience preferably with an E-commerce background
- Superior communication skills, including negotiation, consultation and facilitation and relationship management skills, and experience in interacting with senior management
- Sound understanding of project and software development life cycles
- Strong leadership, strategic thinking, analytical and problem solving skills
- Proven experience in designing application interfaces
- Excellent vendor management skills
