Solutions Analyst, Solutions Architect, Application Delivery, MS Dynamics, CRM, .NET, Cloud, Waterfall, AGILE, ITIL, CURRENT SC LEVEL SECURITY CLEARANCE.

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a major Government department for an experienced Solutions Architect/Solutions Analyst to undertake solutions analysis, governing the development of Microsoft-based applications in line with the road map and customer business strategy.

Applicants MUST be able to demonstrate previous proven capability in the following areas:

In-depth experience of MS Applications and MS technology, specifically, Dynamics CRM, .NET frameworks

At least 10 years'' experience in an application service delivery role

Experience of sales and customer facing proposal and estimation activities

A demonstrable track record in delivering enterprise-level applications on cloud traditional platforms

Knowledge of web and security standards (accessibility and compatibility)

Thorough understanding of Software Development Lifecycle approaches, ideally with experience in working in both Waterfall and more Agile environments

Knowledge of best-practice development QA techniques, such as Behaviour-Driven Development and Continuous Integration

Recent experience with modelling standards (UML particularly Use Cases)

ITIL foundation

APPLICANTS MUST HOLD CURRENT SECURITY CLEARANCE TO A MINIMUM OF SC LEVEL

Responsibilities will include:

Understanding of customer business requirements in identifying and liaising with architects and developers to design the most appropriate technical architecture needed to support their systems.

Ensuring compatibility with the customer's current business model.

Develop business specifications which enable the customer to achieve their business strategic objectives, providing full appraisal of alternative options with comparative analysis of associated costs/benefits.

Provide the technical expertise and quality assurance for all aspects of design, documentation, processes and products, including assessment of supplier performance from a business process perspective.

Qualify and ensure accurate estimates and project plans for the design, development and support of infrastructure ensuring that high quality products and services are delivered on time and within budget.

Work with colleagues and customers to ensure that solutions are consistently transitioned into an effective support arrangement through education of Operations teams.

Plan schedule and monitor low level road map activities, communicating to CTO and Change Boards where dependencies or conflicts occur
