Solution Designer - Credit Risk

My client, a global IT Services company, is looking for a Solution Designer Credit Risk to join their practice, the team is currently 8 strong but due to a big project pipeline they need to increase their numbers.

Risk Solution Designer

- Responsible for leading the analysis, design and proposing 'fit for purpose' IT and business solutions to meet the requirements of large and complex programs of work
- This role will be required to drive the thought leadership for the technical solution design

Lead and manage solution design outcomes, the development of design documentation, and obtain approval from key stakeholders for large and complex programs of work to ensure that solutions are 'fit for purpose', take into account the requirements of stakeholders and IT Strategy - Manage the resolution of design decisions and issues through the solution design and delivery phases for high risk and large and complex programs of work to ensure timely identification and resolution of design issues and decisions
- Apply high-level expertise knowledge of systems to inform Architecture and Solutions Design on optimal designs and appropriate compromises to ensure high quality solutions are delivered to the business. This specifically relates to the Credit life cycle from both a business and IT perspective

Experience:

- Six + years experience in systems specification and design and delivering major business solutions (application systems) into production
- Five + years experience within Credit Risk and Institutional lending business
- Ten + years experience within the IT Industry/financial services or in business consulting
