SOLUTION DESIGN ARCHITECT NETWORK&SECURITY (NTS)/+6 MONTHS/BRUSSELS, BELGIUM

Solution Design Architect Network&Security (NTS) urgently required for one of my clients for an initial period of 6 months to be based in Brussels, Belgium.

Job description

- Designs meet customer expectation and require minimal rework, following review
- Work within the contractual context of an outsourcing contract and initialises as such also contractual changes
- Conformity with prescribed processes and methodologies for development of solutions and their approvals
- Maximized used of client's standard Portfolio, Service Elements and Delivery capability

Required skills

- EXPERIENCE IN DESIGNING SOLUTIONS AS A DELIVERY ARCHITECT FOR MANAGED SERVICES AND OUTSOURCING PROJECTS IS A MUST. This can vary from complete solutions to additional demands/change requests going from 10K to over 1 million EUR
- 4 to 7 years professional experience in the IT industry designing high value, complex solutions in a service context
- Solid knowledge of Network&Security and/or Data Center Management solutions including

MANDATORY: CORE NETWORK &SECURITY TECHNOLOGIES

- Preparation, Planning, Designing and optimization High Level network and Security architecture
- Produce High Level architecture solutions/designs
- Provide expert technical assistance during design activities and to resolve issues
- IN-DEPTH KNOWLEDGE OF NETWORK DESIGN, NETWORK TECHNOLOGIES AND PRODUCT SUCH AS DATACENTER NETWORK &SECURITY, WAN MPLS, QOS, FIREWALLS, VPN, IPSEC, LOADBALANCERS, DNS
- VMWare Virtual Networking concepts
- Routing and Switching (Brocade, Cisco, Juniper)
- IP Networking (TCP/IP) knowledge
- Network management system knowledge
- FC SAN knowledge
- Trusted technical advisor
- Optional:
- ANY VALID NETWORK CERTIFICATIONS LIKE CCIE, CCNP, CCDA, CCDP
- Juniper/Brocade certifications
- TOGAF principles or certification
- Service Management
- Knowledge of Enterprise Architecture in multi-tower context
- Knowledge of Transition and Transformation of complex environments is recommended
- Good knowledge of solution development life cycle
