SOLUTION ARCHTECT - PORTAL - BANKING - City OF LONDON.

You will be required to have the following skills;

Extensive experience working on IT projects as a solution architect

Detailed knowledge and experience of Enterprise Portal and Identity Management platforms

Experience working with Service-Oriented Architectures, Enterprise Service Bus and Business Process Management tools.

Experience of object-oriented development work in languages such as Java or C++

Experience of mobile and collaboration platforms an advantage

Knowledge of Summit, SAP, Java/JBOSS, Appian, Informatica technologies an advantage

Excellent communication skills needed - written and spoken

Demonstrable experience in the following areas;
Help to define the strategic IT architecture in regard of Enterprise Portal, Extranet, Identity/Access Management and related areas.

Assist with procurement processes for tools and platforms to realise the strategic architecture.

Drive implementation of the selected tools and platforms.

Contribute to initiatives to integrate existing IT assets with the new architecture.

Explain and promote architectural goals and principles across the department.

Advise on the architectural implications of other initiatives.

The purpose of the role will be to advance the Bank's Strategic IT Architecture, with particular reference to the definition of Portal strategy for external-facing and internal-facing scenarios, including specification, procurement and implementation of relevant technology platforms and their integration with existing IT assets.
