Solution Architecture Manager Financial Services.
My client a leading global name is in urgent need of a talented and experienced Solution Architecture Manager to join their group on a contract basis of 12 months.
You will have a strong background in Solution Architecture and design work, ideally in the banking, financial services space. My client has a number of in house applications perhaps 200 applications. They are looking for a technologist that is Agnostic as they have in house and vendor applications that will need customisation work performed.
You will have a Proven track record in the creation of large, complex and wide ranging technology solutions and designs, preferably within the Treasury and Global Markets area of the financial services sector, you will also have excellent communications skills with the ability to engage with and influence senior stakeholders, both technical and non-technical. Your day to day activity will be to stand over mentor and coach up to 10 solution designers and architects, you must be able to stand over the designs from this team and present in front of a committee to that effect.
Candidates will be accountable for providing support and appropriate technical expertise to large change delivery programmes and will ensure IT solutions designed and developed are value for money in terms of quality, efficiency and cost. Successful candidates will also ensure that the technical designs and solutions are consistent with the area's long term strategy.
