The essential experience required for this role:
Extensive experience 5 plus years in Solution Architecture/Presales with Cisco Products Experience of being a Solutions Architect focusing on Cisco Unified Communications Products (eg Cisco Call Manager, Cisco Voip ) Experience of being a pre-sales solutions architect targeting the mid-market (organisations that have a user base of between 200-2000 peopleExperience of presenting up to C-Level Executives
Personal attributes - flexibility, passion, start up mentality , gravitas
Desirable Experience Experience of being involved in the solution architecture of pre-selling core switching and routing installations and maintenance would be a plus
Experience of working in a presales capacity pre-selling other solutions./ technology installations - eg Net App, HP, VMware, EMC
Role responsibilities
Be an expert in core products, including architecture, functionality, usage, and deployment methodologies
Coordinate with sales reps to manage complex, high-value enterprise solution and product sales with a 1 to 12 month purchasing cycle
Work closely with sales to gather and understand technical requirements, produce and present technical proposals to meet clients' business and technical needs
Work with a high degree of creativity, attention to detail, and high responsiveness with minimal oversight
Manage multiple simultaneous sales processes, using deep knowledge of products, service, internal workflows, and networks of subject matter experts to assemble a complete technical solution
Understand and communicate business intelligence, acting as a conduit between Sales, and Implementation Services units within the company to produce short and long-term value to clients and prospects
Assists sales in qualifying business opportunities
Helps identify milestones and tactics necessary to win the sales opportunity
Works in tandem with sales to differentiate my clients solution from competitors, anticipating and handling objections along the way
Demonstrates the ability to deliver features, competitive advantages and business benefits of technology
Works in tandem with sales to develop proposals for solutions and implementations and actively contributes to responses
Displays initiative and self motivation and delivers high quality work, meeting deadlines for both internal and external customers
