Solution Architect/Solution Engineer for the Client Tax Reporting

SOLUTION ARCHITECT/SOLUTION ENGINEER FOR THE CLIENT TAX REPORTING

Randstad professionals are looking to find a responsible and open minded candidate who adds value to our client's IT team. Our client is an international Swiss Bank.

KEY DELIVERABLES:

Solution-Architectural responsibility and delivery of major projects in the Tax Reporting Operations area.

This includes:

- architectural decisions in sync with the architect counterparts of the surrounding or complementary systems (eg Java/Host), as well the central architecture
- negotiate with the business partners about feasibility of their needs and identify solutions to satisfy them
- take component ownership responsibility for within the team to assure the 3rd level support
- check and improve code quality of the delivered software; this includes the automation of the product delivery including automated build, tests, code checks etc., as well as defining standards, code models
- develop specifications for solution-engineering

Programming responsibility and delivery of major projects in the Tax Reporting Operations area.

This includes:

- develop batch components and JCL
- develop batch - and work-flow processes
- perform unit-testing
- design and develop DB2-tables and functional -access
- performance-optimization of existing functionality

MANDATORY EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

- Experience in Software Development/- Coding for financial institutions of > 5 years
- very good understanding of MVS/PLI/DB2
- Know-how of UML methodology
- Working experience with: Jira, SVN, Enterprise architect
- knowledge of Tax Reporting, securities, single accounts, FX and forward contract transactions processing incl. corporate actions, securitized and non securitizes options.
- Strong focus on solution delivery

BENEFICIAL EXPERIENCE:

- Know-how within the area of Tax Reporting
- experience in using tools like JIRA, Polarion, Enterprise Architect 9.x
- background in software development processes/life cycle
- project management experience
