SOLUTION ARCHITECT - SINGAPORE (ORACLE EBS, TOGAF, ZACHMAN, SOA, ENTERPRISE ARCHITECTURE, SMP, NUMA, PRINCE, AGILE, DESIGN, CODING, TESTING)
(2 ROLES, 1 UK & 1 SINGAPORE- THIS IS THE SINGAPORE JOB)
My client is a UK based global end user that also has major strongholds in the US and Asia.
They operate on a global basis across 25 countries and have a work-force of 7,000, resulting in revenues in-excess of £2 billion per annum making them a market leader in their sector.
A drive to develop the operational platform for the business combined with a major implementation, has resulted in the creation of a skilled Solution Architect opportunity:
Key Responsibilities:
- Determines specifications - plan, design and develop solutions utilising appropriate software engineering processes.
- Design and produce detailed technical architecture guideline and standards
- Work with Solution Designer to make application/business unit specific architectural designs and solutions
- Assist in troubleshooting the most difficult and mission critical technical problems
- Work with Business Analysts to ensure that solution designs support the business requirements
- Possible line management of small team
My client is only prepared to accept applications from candidates that meet the following criteria due to the business critical nature of this role:
- Expert in state of the art programming languages and Object Orientated approaches in designing, coding, testing and debugging programs
- Detailed working experience or two or more application development methodologies
- 4+ years working as a Solution Architect
- Prince and Agile project development methodologies experience
- SOA, Enterprise Architecture, Oracle eBS, TOGAF, Zachman framework experience
- Parallel Processing Architecture (SMP, NUMA) and Data Mining experience would be beneficial
My client is a firm believer in internal recognition, hence a candidate who demonstrate a drive and will to further their career will be offered line management opportunities of small teams within 6 months, incorporating guidance and training of junior staff.
Further to this, my client is requiring a minimum of 4 years Solution Architecture experience from all applicants.
