Solution Architect/Senior Engineer - Java

SCOPE OF WORK:

- Technical Analysis
- High-level Design
- Low-Level Design incl. Unit/Unit-Integration Testing
- Coding of complex Business Integration Tier Components
- Documentation & quality assurance, including review of components developed offshore
- Acting as a technical lead and contact point for our offshore developers
- Understanding client requirements and working very closely with 3rd Party Software Vendors, Offshore Providers, Lead Architects & Business Analysts.
- Design and implement overall Architecture for Integration Layer Components applying the reusable Integration Patterns
- Apply UML as a standard modelling language at the CS
- Apply a systematic approach to derive the system architecture from the requirements and to define the architecture, so that it provides an input for the implementation and testing.
- Act as technical contact point for our Offshore Developers
- Communicate in a professional way & appropriate language (distinguish between communication to Business, Senior Management & Engineers & choose the appropriate terminologies)

QUALIFICATION/SKILLS:

- High-graduate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field (min. 6 Years Uni)
- FLUENT ENGLISH LANGUAGE SKILLS, PREFERENCE WILL BE GIVEN TO CANDIDATES WHO ARE ALSO FLUENT IN GERMAN.
- MINIMUM 8 YEARS' EXPERIENCE IN ENTERPRISE SOLUTIONS AS AN ARCHITECT OR SENIOR DEVELOPER
- Experience in the integration of 3rd Party Software and in the work with Offshore Partners (especially from India)
- Solid experience in JAVA PROGRAMMING LANGUAGE, especially in JAVA ENTERPRISE
- Solid experience in the Oracle Relational Database and the Middleware technologies
- Excellent conceptual skills in order to perform problem analysis (understand as-is landscape and processes) and to document solution architecture options.
