Solution Architect - Infrastructure - Broadcast Media

SOLUTION ARCHITECT - INFRASTRUCTURE - BROADCAST MEDIA

I am currently looking for a Solution Architect to work on a 6 month rolling contract basis based in London.

You will be responsible for gathering Infrastructure requirements, working with subject matter experts to translate them into effective solution designs and ensuring that the solution implemented meets the defined requirements.

PERSON SPECIFICATION

- MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE WORKING IN THE BROADCAST/MEDIA INDUSTRY
- Strong background in Infrastructure Architecture across a broad range of technologies including but not limited to the following.

* Datacentre, Server and network infrastructure
* Virtualisation technologies
* Enterprise Storage Solutions (SAN, NAS, File store).
* Knowledge of Enterprise Security Infrastructure (Antivirus, Patching, Firewalls, IPS/IDS, Certificates, Secure file transfer, Active Directory)
* Experience of Data Centre migrations, technology re-platforming, technology upgrade projects
- Has experience in security, performance tuning, capacity planning, resilience and availability across heterogeneous architectures.
- DUTCH LANGUAGE SKILLS would be highly attractive for this role, but not essential!
