Solution Architect - Financial Services - XML - FpMl - FIX - London

SOLUTION ARCHITECT - FINANCIAL SERVICES - XML - FPML - FIX - LONDON - £650 - 750

A Solution Architect is required to work on the high level design of a Financial Messaging solution that is going to be rolled out across the Derivatives department of a leading Trade Processing organisation. The role is based in London and offers a daily rate between £650 - 760.

You will have the opportunity to play an instrumental role in the design of the Financial Messaging Standards within this Trade Processing organisation. You will have the chance to work on both technical and business aspects of this solution. You will also have the chance to work on an array of technologies including XML, FpML, FIX and Weblogic.

You will be responsible for working closely with business users (both internally and externally) to design the Financial Messaging protocols, ensuring that they are fully integrated with the established middleware. The Middleware includes Oracle ESB and Weblogic.

REQUIREMENTS

- Previous experience in Solution Architecture for Financial Messaging protocols, preferably within an Exchange/Clearing House/Investment Bank
- Very strong understanding of various Financial Messaging types including FpMl, FIX and XML.
- Solid experience IBM MQ, JMS, Weblogic and Oracle ESB.
- Good understanding of Architecture Principles, preferably TOGAF certified.
