Solution Architect/Designer

Role - Solution Architect/Designer
Contract - 6 months
Location - Durham

Solution Architect/Designer required initially a 6 month contract for my public sector client based in Durham, North East.

My client is seeking an experienced Solution Architect/Designer with skills and experience designing solutions for major identity management projects.
You will gather requirements, analyse and produce the solutions design centred on Microsoft FIM to replace the identity management functionality of a Legacy system.

The successful candidate is likely to have:
*Experience designing and deploying FIM implementations, including a practical and theoretical understanding of:
oSync cycle (import, join, project, sync, provision, export)
oMA extensions, custom MAs and the use of auxiliary MAs
oMV extensions
oManagement Policy Rules (MPR)
oSets
oWorkflow
oCustom workflow actions
oPortal customisation
oBHOLD and RBAC
oSQL
oVB.NET and/or C#, PowerShell and some Java would be beneficial
*Strong experience in multiple hardware and software platforms including Microsoft FIM and related products, Active Directory and ADFS, Windows and Linux server environments.
*Strong problem solving skills and hands-on approach to finding creative solutions.
*Significant experience of gathering and analysing business requirements and translating into practical solutions.
*Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact with staff at all levels within the organisation to deliver successful project outcomes.
*Understanding of IT security risks and mitigations.
*Experience of delivering projects within the higher education sector and working to ITIL standards would be an advantage.
