Solution Architect-Data Center Migration

DATA CENTER MIGRATION ARCHITECT

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Experience in handling large scale Data center migration projects
- Good understanding of Data Center migration principles
- Demonstrate ability to plan and build Data center migration strategy
- Good understanding of Data migration strategies
- Sound understanding of Server Virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V)
- Good understanding of Hitachi storage (VSP)
- Good understanding of HP Data protector backup solution
- Should have past experience in designing: Server virtualization solution; Storage solution using Hitachi VSP; Backup Solution using HP Data Protector
- Deep understanding of sizing of the above solution is a must
- Good understanding of well know databases, Middleware and web service
- Skills on Architecture framework such as TOGAF is a plus
- Ability to independently work on Data Center migration
- Good understanding of HP Rack/Blade Servers

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

- Overall Experience of 10-12 years
- Should have lead at least 2 Data Center migration projects
