Solution Architect/Data Architect

You will be responsible for working with the Enterprise Data Model team, e2e design team & other IT/functional stakeholders to create a canonical data models for various telecom OSS domains.

You will review & ensure the data model is aligned to telecom OSS transformation & current solutions for a transformation program.

Responsibilities
-Deliver a canonical, flexible, reusable, and well-maintained EDM (Enterprise Data Model) for telecom domains of service provisioning, billing & service assurance.
-Deliver EDM definitions for the Customer, Service, Enterprise, Product & Offering domains including Common Business Entities
-Work closely with EDM lead, data governance group to establish appropriate standards and methodologies, analysing, template and tools related to documenting various business entities.
-Develop and implement a standard centralised Enterprise Data Model (EDM), including standard business entities, documentation of definitions, relationships, appropriate data usage, and data quality.
-Work with various BAU team and OSS transformation team to implement these standards within the Data Governance organisations and able to guide them for database designs, interface designs etc.
-Develop templates and methodologies to ensure business entities are accurately and completely captured and can be effectively communicated to other data stakeholders.
-Ensure the canonical EDM effectively meet the business need.
-Provide guidance to project teams.

Requisites
-6-10 Years of experience in OSS solution design/Business analyst/Data analyst in telecom domain.
-Good functional knowledge of various telecom domain service provisioning, CRM, billing & service assurance.
-Experience in UML and hands on experience in UML tool like ARIS/EA etc.
-Experience delivering data documentation artefacts in organisations of similar size and complexity within project deadlines
-Sound knowledge of TM forums (Frameworks) domains, ETom, SID modelling & TAM
-Excellent understanding of IT principles such as databases, functions, UI, business rules, ESB, software systems.
-Excellent understanding of SOA architecture, ITIL, ITSM is an added advantage.
-Gain an understanding of organisational goals and strategies.
-Keeping abreast of all projects and their data needs and requirements.
-Able to communicate clearly in both verbal and written form.
-Strong work ethic, results oriented, and attention to detail are critical.
-Demonstrated initiative, able to work both independently and as a team member.
-Able to work in agile or scrum delivery environments.
-Effectively manage deadlines.
