Solution Architect (Data & Analytics)
I am currently hiring a Solution Architect (Data & Analytics) for a multi-national clients' Belgium run project, just outside of Brussels. The initial contract offered will be for 6 months and extensions will be offered thereafter based on performance.
A Dutch speaker is preferred, however an English speaker will also be considered.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Delivering End to End solution for Data/Analytics foundation layer
- Responsibility for solution architecture oversight and leadership during the course of implementation
- Proven experience in Data/Analytics requirements analysis: Being able to extract the Information needs of business and translating these to a Data/Analytics solution (focus = functional)
KEY SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE:
- Demonstrated experience in creating (on your own or with a team) solution architecture in the area of Data/Analytics
- Hadoop and other Industry Data/Analytics Frameworks
- Industry vertical application for Data/Analytics
- Knowledge of/Affinity with the BO stack (WEBI, Universe Designer), SAS EGuide, SYBASE IQ, Tableau (or Datawarehousing in general)
- Soft Skills: Communicative abilities, Empathic - Being able to understand the needs of the end user, Analytical mind
- Experience of managing multiple stakeholders (Customer, Customer Business users, 3rd party teams, external stakeholders)
- Experience of managing and working with people from different ethnicity and culture Understanding of Consultancies operating models and ability to work in onsite/offshore model
- English Language speaking capability & Dutch language skill is nice to have requirement.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Experience of minimum 10 to 12 years as Solution Architect including 5+ years of in a combination of relevant Big Data/Analytics areas including Enterprise Business Intelligence and Analytics (eg, SAP, Oracle, Teradata)
- Minimum of 2 years of Experience in SAP HANA platform
Contract Length: 6 months minimum
Start Date: 01/10/2018
