Solution Architect Contract 12 Months

My client is looking to add an experienced Solution Architect to their team in Dublin for a 12 month contract.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in the creation of large, complex and wide ranging technology solutions and designs. You will need excellent communications skills with the ability to engage with and influence senior stakeholders, both technical and non-technical.
You will need Flexibility in your approach and an ability to respond to change. You will show a proven track record for implementing cost effective and flexible delivery solutions

This role will involve providing support and appropriate technical expertise to large change delivery programmes, you will Ensure IT solutions designed and developed are value for money in terms of quality, efficiency and cost.
You will need to ensure that the technical designs and solutions are consistent with the area's long term strategy and Review and integrate all application and technical architecture requirements.
You will assist in defining and reviewing the technical requirements of the solution including security, integration, performance and quality.
You will Identify and communicate and cross-over issues that affect other on-going designs/project areas.
Take ownership of design deliverables and ensure timely and accurate delivery to the project teams including validating the design with stakeholders
You will also be assisting project managers and development leads in production of estimates of effort for ratified design, and in defining go-live and migration approaches

Primary Technology areas: Operating Systems: AIX, Solaris, Windows, VMS Software: Oracle PLSQL, Forms, Reports, Discoverer MQ Series, Message broker, IBM message sets C# and C++ not essential but desirable Applications: Summit, Algorithmic (Credit Risk, Market Risk and Collateral) Murex
