Solution Architect - Client Tax Reporting - Finance - Zürich

Solution Architect/Solution Engineer (Client Tax Reporting) an international bank in Zurich.

YOUR TASKS:

- Delivering architectural decisions in sync with the architect counterparts of the surrounding or complementary systems (eg Java/Host) and the central architecture
- Taking component ownership responsibility for within the team to assure the 3rd level support
- Checking and improving code quality of the delivered software (automation of the product, automated build, tests, code checks etc)., as well as defining standards and code models
- Developing specifications for solution-engineering, batch components, JCL, batch - and work-flow processes
- Designing and developing DB2-tables and functional access and performing unit-testing

YOUR EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:

- More than 5 years Experience in Software Development/- Coding for financial institutions
- Very good understanding of MVS,PLI, DB2
- Know-how of UML methodology
- Working experience with: Jira, SVN, Enterprise architect, Tax Reporting, securities, single accounts, FX, forward contract transactions processing incl. corporate actions, securitized and non securitizes options
- Background in software development processes/life cycle and project management experience would be an advantage
- Languages: fluent German and English both written and spoken
