Our client, a major Pharma global player is currently looking for a SOLUTION ARCHITECT for a 9 months contract in Basel, starting immediately.
PROJECT SCOPE:
The focus of this position is to lead and establish business value creation for Drug Development by leveraging technology. The role encompasses the full life cycle - from ideation to requirements elicitation, design, implementation and rollout of the solutions.
DESCRIPTION
- Drive Innovation ideas/discussions, PoC's. Evaluate new technological developments and evolving business requirements and makes recommendations for improved service levels and efficiencies
- Provide input to project proposals related to new technologies/innovations. Actively engage with business and technical stakeholders
- Structure problem domain and drive/define data, process, functional, and architectural requirements
- Responsible for the full life cycle of the solution
- Identify potential solution options, defining selection criteria; establishing proto-types; and driving requirements ensuring alignment with delivery of business value; solution architecture; solution design
- Drive implementation of new/enhanced solution. Ensure that the architecture satisfies defined performance, security, and availability parameters
- Provide in-depth technical and business knowledge to ensure efficient design, programming and implementation
SKILLS:
- 5-8 years of experience in Pharmaceutical Industry (PREFERABLY IN THE DRUG DEVELOPMENT)
- Experience in agile or hybrid SDLC.
- Understanding of the business forces operating on the enterprise/business areas affected by the project, as well as its products, services, finances, and strategies
- Advanced business analyst and technology skills
- Capable of managing and leading a medium to large sized group of BTA's as a Team lead (8+)
- Exhibits awareness and advanced thinking around larger architectural and business drivers and leads the charge to bring about changes to the domain/.enterprise architecture and solutions
- Excellent communication, collaboration, facilitation and business partnership capabilities
- Organize/run Innovation networks, drive innovations discussions & PoC's, manage associates working on Innovations tasks
- Manage Innovation roundtable discussions
