Solution Architect/Basel

For our client we are looking an Architect who will be able to demonstrate a strong command of a wide range of technical skills related to architecting solutions, project management and provision of services in a GxP environment. Good knowledge of GIS service delivery processes is of importance.

TASKS

- Assumes responsibility for the overall design, delivery and deployment of the Documentum platform components, practices and processes according to business needs
- Coordinates and provides consultancy to Business Application Architects with regard to implementation and configuration of the underlying platform components
- Leads technical impact assessment of new software releases and patches on the platform and in collaboration with application Solution Architects on the impact on the hosted business applications
- Defines platform architecture standards and extensions
- Analyzes technical impact of change requests on the platform setup and configuration
- Contributes to and interprets divisional business and IT strategy to shape strategy and future direction for Document Management platform
- Oversees generation of installation scripts (IQ) and reviews/approves their execution
- Leads analysis of defects and works with the engineering team on their resolution
- Translates application sizing requirements into infrastructure requirements
- Oversees the delivery of infrastructure components
- Defines requirements on the infrastructure components, eg pre-requisites, parameters, sizing
- Defines Disaster Recovery Plan and Test Plans and manages their executions together with infrastructure service providers
- Contributes to root cause analysis for reported issues and problems
- Conducts proof of concepts related to infrastructure concepts
