Solution Architect

Role Title: Solution Architect

Role Length: 6 months

Start date: No later than 12th December 2016

Location: Amsterdam

Business Function: Professional Services

Job Description:

- Resource must be able to work from the customer location which is located next to Amsterdam.
- Full-time (40 hours a week)
- Long term engagement (6 months +)
- Speaking Dutch is a nice to have, but not a must have.

Skillset:

- Experience with private, public, hybrid cloud.
- Experience with Azure
- Experience with Amazon Web Services
- Experience with networking and network security concepts and solutions (Next-gen Firewalls, load-balancing, networking, DNS, DHCP)
- Experience with security topics such as Software Defined Perimeter, DLP
- Understands risks involved with cloud environments and is able to take part in security discussions/workshops with the customer's extensive security team to make sure the cloud meets the security needs of the customer while maintaining the benefits of a cloud environment
- Knows industry best-practices for transitioning from a traditional environment to a hybrid/public cloud environment.
- Able to advise on automation (of networking and security devices both physical, virtual, on-prem and within the cloud)
- Able to work in an Agile way (bringing Agile working experience and best practices to the team is another plus)
- Individuals and interactions over processes and tools
- Working software over comprehensive documentation
- Customer collaboration over contract negotiation
- Responding to change over following a plan
