SOLUTION ARCHITECT
On behalf of our client, a leading global company within finance we are looking for a highly experienced Solution Architect. For this contract position based in Zurich, Switzerland our client is looking for a German and English speaking candidate who can start as soon as possible. THE PURPOSE OF THE POSITION;
- designs solutions taking into consideration: economic efficiency, quality and feasibility within the project activities
- analyses and designs the solution, including interfaces to other applications and makes sure, that the solution is Embedded in the
- application domain in agreement with the responsible Domain/Department Architect
- co-ordinates project activities in respect to necessary work products related to the System Specification/SAD and the Risk Profile
- acts as technical representation, advisor and contact point for a project
- cooperates closely with the Domain Architect and with the IT Team
- Ensure adequate sounding of the solution options and proposals with architectural stakeholders
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES;
- responsible for the design and implementation of an application, including interfaces to the surrounding systems
- responsible for content and quality of the System Specification/SAD and the Risk Profile (according to Information Risk Analysis Methodology)
- responsible for the adherence to architectural standards and development policies
- Coordinates activities in respect to necessary solution engineering work products and support ITPL in definition and planning of work packages
- Acts as technical representation, advisor and contact point for stakeholders and suppliers
- Makes sure architecture decisions are properly documented & communicated
- Stays in close collaboration with the solution architects of the involved applications
- Assures arch. project obligations are solved in time and never get overdue. Pre-brief PRB reviewers in order to limit number of obligations or even prevent any obligations
- Supports Test Manager and ITPL in the test conception and test phase
