Solution Architect

For our client in Zurich, we are looking for a Solution Architect for a 12 months' contract

Role purpose
*designs solutions taking into consideration: economic efficiency, quality and feasibility within the project activities
*analyses and designs the solution, including interfaces to other applications and makes sure, that the solution is Embedded in the application domain in agreement with the responsible Domain/Department Architect
*co-ordinates project activities in respect to necessary work products related to the System Specification/SAD and the Risk Profile
*acts as technical representation, advisor and contact point for a project
*cooperates closely with the Domain Architect and with the IT Team
*Ensure adequate sounding of the solution options and proposals with architectural stakeholders

Role Authority
*designs solution based on business requirements
*escalates solution related issues to Domain/Program Architect

Role Responsibilities
*responsible for the design and implementation of an application, including interfaces to the surrounding systems
*responsible for content and quality of the System Specification/SAD and the Risk Profile (according to Information Risk Analysis Methodology)
*responsible for the adherence to architectural standards and development policies
*Coordinates activities in respect to necessary solution engineering work products and support ITPL in definition and planning of work packages
*Acts as technical representation, advisor and contact point for stakeholders and suppliers
*Makes sure architecture decisions are properly documented & communicated
*Stays in close collaboration with the solution architects of the involved applications
*Assures arch. project obligations are solved in time and never get overdue. Pre-brief PRB reviewers in order to limit number of obligations or even prevent any obligations
*Supports Test Manager and ITPL in the test conception and test phase
