Solution Architect

Multiple Solution Architects required for large-scale project in Sydney's CBD. Supporting the Lead Architect you will be defining and documenting the solution architecture and design, reviewing vendor documentation and reviewing interface contracts with other systems for the IMS or CIMS.

Your duties:

- Develop Solution Options; propose and document the IMS or CIMS Solution Options based on high level business requirements
- Develop Solution Architecture; define and document the detailed IMS or CIMS Solution Architecture to guide solution design and development
- Project Delivery; taking ownership of the technical solution through the project delivery phase including project change requests and changes of environments
- Assist Project Managers in the preparation and evaluation of tenders for solutions
- Provide Project Managers with technical advice for the procurement of any items associated with network/infrastructure
- Governance and Quality Assurance; provide technical oversight of projects through design, development, implementation and post-implementation review and ensure technology initiatives consistently meet quality assurance, risk management and process improvement criteria with best practice methodologies and regulatory requirements

Your background:

- Extensive previous experience with solutions architecture, business and systems requirements, and technical design and analysis in a complex and maturing technical environment
- Experience with contemporary business technologies and architectural frameworks in a multi-sourced and/or federated operating environment
- Experience and knowledge of industry standard development methodologies, tools, and techniques
- Extensive experience in successfully delivering major business solutions into implementation within a large, enterprise IT environment
- Excellent communication, analytical, conceptual and problem solving skills
- High level report writing and presentation skills with emphasis on developing quality solution specifications
- A working knowledge of IT service principles and frameworks including ITIL and a demonstrable understanding of solution design best practice and application
- Experience with Incident Management Systems (IMS) or Customer Information Management Systems (CIMS)
