Solution Architect

Global banking client seeking a Solution Architect who has a very strong background with Databases, Servers, Networks and Storage.
The successful applicant will be tasked with delivering business infrastructure architecture & designs. The ideal applicant would have previous experience investigating new infrastructure technologies, providing technical governance over that businesses products and providing service governance to new and existing products. The role has a focus on design and architecture and it would be advantageous if the applicant had knowledge of front, middle and back office functions. A summary of the key skills are as follows:

* Networking (Cisco, TCP/UDP, Broadcast/Multicast, LAN/WAN)
* Server Operating systems internals, benchmarking and performance tuning (Linux, Windows, Solaris) & CPU Microarchitectures (Intel, AMD, SPARC)
* Storage (EMC SAN - FC, FCoE, SRDF; NetApp NAS - CIFS, NFS)
* Databases (Oracle & MS SQL; VCS & MSCS)
* Databases (Oracle RAC, Sybase, Apache Hadoop & Hbase)
* Middleware and Grid (IBM MQ & Platform, Tibco RV & Datasynapse)
* Market Data (RMDS, 29West, Wombat, Solarflare)
* In Memory Distributed Data Grid (Oracle Coherence)
* Web applications servers (Apache HTTP Server & Tomcat, IIS, Websphere)
* End to end agile infrastructure architecture across all layers
* Trading Technologies and ISVs
* Java/ Java GUI, XML/ XSLT, HTML/ Java Script
