Solution Architect required by leading client to help deliver architecture designs for new and existing projects on secure networks. Working within the existing design team, the candidate will be expected to:

-Work with the Stakeholders and the end customer to capture and refine requirements
-Develop solution concepts and review within design team
-Work with 3rd parties to design the best solution
-Construct sizing models to substantiate design decisions
-Write high level design documentation (HLD)
-Produce cost models to help financial forecasting of your designs
-Present your design to the delivery team and work with them on matters arising during development

Experience that is relevant for the various projects are:

-Firewalls (Cisco Application Control Engine, McAfee Firewall Enterprise or Juniper)
-Solaris 10 including virtualisation
-Anti-virus technologies including security appliances
-Deep packet inspection
-SMTP messaging
-Web servers
-Intrusion Detection
-Application and network load-balancing (e.g. Cisco, RADware)
-Network storage (NAS, SAN etc)
