Solution Architect

Our client is seeking a Solution Architect to provide technical analysis, design and implementation guidance of architecture services for solving integration, interfacing and synchronisation challenges faced by the project.

YOUR DUTIES:

- Provide advice and leadership in relation to ICT technical architecture and solution designs related to ICT asset replacement
- Provide technical solution architecture for integration in the business environment, design and subject matter expertise working with project team members and technical staff
- Develop comprehensive technical documentation
- Develop opportunities for improving technical direction, policy operating models and processes
- Communicate with vendors to negotiate solutions and to define hardware/software requirements
- Design and participate in the implementation of an integrated solution based on business requirements and SOA strategies

YOUR BACKGROUND:

- Excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills
- The ability to conduct and document technical solution workshops and to gain support for proposed solutions from a wide variety of stakeholders
- Knowledge of SOA architectures and data migration projects
- Demonstrated knowledge in Java Solutions Architecture, using Java EE, JMS, Java Beans, JBoss, Web Services in a Multi-tier solution design
- Demonstrated high level knowledge of RDBMS Oracle, including PL/SQL
- Demonstrated high level knowledge of Mainframe technologies
- Experience with Crystal Reports viewer and integrations within the Java technology
