Solution Architect

6 months initially. Daily Rate Contract

Knowledge/experience:

- 10 years' experience in development (as a developer, architect, technical specialist and/or technical consultant).
- Hands-on experience with SOA-based implementations in Java and TIBCO.
- Knowledge of the Payment Industry including credit cards processing, SEPA, ISO20022, E-commerce payments.
- Flexibility to work on complex highly scalable and mission-critical enterprise projects with international scope.
- Strong commitment to a cooperative team approach. Proven track record of delivering successful solutions

SKILLS:

- Excellent skills in Java, JEE and open source frameworks eg Spring, Hibernate.
- Knowledge of IBM WebSphere Application Server.
- Excellent skills in application integration. Asynchronous messaging, Web Services (SOAP, REST), mediation, routing, XML.
- In-depth knowledge of TIBCO stack including EMS and BusinessWorks.
- Deep understanding of software architecture patterns and integration patterns (EAI)
- Architecture documentation and communication, UML.
- Infrastructure design and specification (hardware, networking) for complex enterprise-level highly scalable and resilient systems.

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Systems, Information Services or related technical field or equivalent. Master's degree preferred.
- Additional business qualification eg Java and TIBCO certification will be valued and useful.
- TOGAF 9 certification is very a strong advantage.
- Normally a minimum of 10 years development experience is required - but we are willing to overlook this for exceptional candidates.
