Solution Architect

An exciting opportunity has become available for a Solutions Architect/Technical Lead to work with a technical team to manage new development, existing customer Back End database and Front End system integration as well as enhancements and bespoke design.

YOUR DUTIES WILL INCLUDE:

- Designing and implementing web/non-web applications
- Creating cross-browser/cross-platform code
- Developing prototype and user interfaces incorporating bug fixing and new requirements
- Working in an agile team employing SCRUM

YOUR BACKGROUND:

- Minimum 5 years experience in a Web 2.0 professional standards-based web development role
- Experience with responsive design and mobile app and app development/integration
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS and AJAX
- Liferay Portal (6.1) or similar open-source framework
- Maven (2) build manager or similar but must include Test Coverage
- MySQL database or equivalent
- Knowledge of JQuery, Junit, YUI, Hibernate, Spring and JDBC
