Locum Solicitor - Greater Manchester - 3 months plus contract

£21.50 per hour PAYE / £26.87 Umbrella/Limited Company per hour

We require a full time Locum Solicitor to work in the Legal team within the Housing and Neighbourhood Nuisance section for our client. This role will be based in the City Centre. The role will be initially for 3 Months, but there is a possibility this will be extended further.

Successful candidates MUST HAVE up to date experience in Housing Law, in particular anti-social behaviour work and advocacy.

Enhanced CRB/DBS is required, candidates must also hold a recognised qualification as Solicitor or Barrister. Practising Certificate and Advocacy experience in Magistrates and County Court. Solicitor required to have conduct of mixed case load of Neighbour Nuisance Injunctions, ASBO's and Possession files. Successful candidates will be able to handle their own housing and anti-social behaviour litigation caseload and court advocacy without supervision. To work with external clients and Manchester Housing to facilitate and achieve successful legal solutions to housing law and anti-social behaviour in the City of Manchester.

Solicitor required to have conduct of mixed case load of Neighbour Nuisance Injunctions, Estate Management, ASBO's and Possession files. Experience in housing disrepair would also be an advantage.

Practising Certificate and Advocacy experience in Magistrates and County Court required.
The hours will be Monday to Friday 35 hours a week.
