A respected international tier-1 banking client of mine is seeking a Solaris System Administrator for a job opportunity in Zürich.

This bank has always been at the forefront of technology advancements and development of banking applications, and they currently need a Solaris System Administrator. As the Solaris System Administrator in Zürich, you will be a part of the Unix L3 Support Team which is responsible for operations of my client's regional and global environment. You will be responsible for assisting the team with some migration projects on the Solaris platform.

Some key skills you will need for this role are:

- Strong Solaris administration skills (version 10 and 11 preferred), additional migration skills beneficial
- Knowledge of virtual platform on Solaris
- Good knowledge of configuration and installation of packages, and knowledge of configuration of networks and storage
- Automation/Scripting skills will be very advantageous
- Fluent English
- Flexibility; the team must migrate operational and developmental Servers so there will be some work outside regular office hours.

This is for a contract job with an initial duration until the end of October. Ideally, you are available immediately.
