Solaris Expert

My client- A large financial organisation, are looking for a systems administrator (Solaris Expert) to come in for an initial 3 month salary. As a member of the UK Systems Administration team you will be required to build or migrate a large number of medium to enterprise class systems according to existing procedures and utilising in-house and standard Unix tools, improving these where applicable for this project. There is also scope for project work such as development of new services and tools and implementing new technologies. This is a unique environment offering the chance to work with a small and exciting team based in Central London. The key skills required are: Experience in project management Excellent communication, writing organizational skills required Ability to work unsupervised, with a good understanding of technical and customer support Good solid Solaris skills with AIX or Linux a plus, good basic understanding of networking and standard network applications, strong scripting (ksh, bourne) with C, PERL a bonus A good knowledge of Solaris JET and build procedures would also be a bonus Please send your CV if you are immediately available or available at 1 weeks notice maximum and have the skills to do the role.
