SOLARIS ADMINISTRATOR

LOCATION: HELSINKI, FINLAND

DURATION: 6 MONTHS (POSSIBLE EXTENSION)

Job Description:
o Installing, configuring and maintaining Sun Servers
o Account and Printer administration
o Patch and package administration
o Configuration and administration of Sun and Veritas Logical volume manager
o Identify system performance bottleneck and fine tune the system for optimal performance
o Changing Kernel parameters
o Understanding of Storage, Network, Security and core infrastructure technologies and integration with Unix environment
o Installation, configuration and troubleshooting task on Sun or Veritas Cluster environment
o Unix Security hardening and baseline
o Troubleshooting Hardware and Operating system related issue
o Perform root cause analysis
o Troubleshooting technical issues
o Oversees and is responsible for successful completion of Installation, configuration and migration
o Responsible for building/maintaining a test environment
o Responsible for strategizing a backup plan and test plan for failure scenario
o Improves and maintains customer and employee satisfaction
o Data centre consolidation and transformation experience
