POSITION: SOLARIS ADMINISTRATOR
DURATION: 3-6 months
LOCATION: Stockholm, Sweden
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Must have 5-6 years of hands on experience in managing Unix Servers, especially Solaris and Linux
- Well versed with system administration tasks - installations, configuration and run operations
- Experience of server virtualization
- Should have worked on server hardening, patch management, capacity planning
- Troubleshooting system performance issues
- Cluster Management (Install, configure, administer, Troubleshoot Sun Clusters)
- Upgrading Cluster Servers
- Failing over apps/dbs. from one node to another node.
- Installing, Configuring and Administering Zones, LDOMS on Solaris High end Servers (M and T series)
- Managing and Monitoring Virtual Server resources.
- Managing Zone and LDOMS
