Software Validation Test Engineer

OUR CLIENT IS A HUGELY POPULAR COMPUTER COMPONENTS MANUFACTURING COMPANY SEEKING A QUALIFIED VALIDATION ENGINEER FOR A GREAT CONTRACT OFFERING. This candidate will provide pre- and post-silicon firmware validation of Bluetooth Core components and systems. Software validation of Bluetooth host stack and application profiles.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Execute automated and manual test suites
- Develop tests and debug silicon and software failures
- Develop test strategies for product features
- Enhance test automation solutions and tools
- Work with hardware and software design teams to identify and resolve issues

QUALIFICATIONS:

- 2+ years of experience in software development and validation
- 2+ years of experience in C, C++, JavaScript, Perl, Python, Tcl and others

ADDITIONAL SKILLS (NICE TO HAVE):

- Knowledge of Bluetooth Core Protocols and Profiles
- Experience in evaluation of audio quality
- Familiarity with standard interfaces (USB, UART, PCM)
- Knowledge in WLAN and Networking
