Software Validation Engineer Job

Yoh has a contract opportunity for a SOFTWARE ENGINEER - VALIDATION to join our client in Chandler, AZ.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Software Engineer will focus on reviewing and validating code developed by 3rd party.
- Software Engineer will also perform software testing, quality assurance and systems validation.
- Software Engineer will also run test scripts in Windows environment
- Software engineer will learn and use our proprietary technologies.
- Maneuver within our infrastructure and interface with key debug engineers as required.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

- MUST have three (3) plus years of PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE with Object Oriented C++, C#, or Java BS in CS, CE, EE, related subject matter OR seven (7) plus years of PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE.
- Three (3) plus years of solid experience programming Linux Applications.
- Experience in software testing, quality assurance and systems validation is required.
- Knowledge of Open Source Licenses.
- Knowledge/Experience w/Git/Gerrit.
- Experience in Linux operating systems is required including system administration.
- Experience in Scripting with tools such as Perl, Python and Linux Shell Scripting.
- Experience in build tools (C++ Compiler, CMake, GNU Make, etc.)
- Experience with automated and manual test development is required.

PREFERRED JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

- Experience developing/testing native applications and/or drivers for Android or Linux OS.
- Experience with Visual Studio and Eclipse.
- Experienced using Git.
- Experience with development and deployment of tools for automated software validation.
