Software Validation Engineer

SOFTWARE VALIDATION ENGINEER NEEDED FOR HIGH LEVEL PROJECT

Embedded Pre-Si Phone Platform with SW Test and Development Support

Software Engineers conduct or participate in multidisciplinary research and collaborate with design, layout and/or hardware engineers in the design, development, and utilization of productivity enhancement layout tools and design rule checkers, electronic data processing systems software.

DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Hardware/firmware/software system installation and bring-up
- Build and testing tasks
- Small script development for automation and testing purposes
- Assist in web portal creation and web page testing
- Knowledge of SQL queries
- Hardware rework and debug

EXPERIENCE:

- 2+ years of expertise with various Scripting languages (Python, Perl, etc.)
- 2+ years of experience with writing databases SQL queries
- Windows/C#/.NET programming experience
- 2+ years web development (HTML, JavaScript, ASP.NET)
- 2+ years of experience with writing device drivers

REQUIREMENTS:

- Demonstrated expertise in software test automation development
- Strong background in C/C++/C#, Python, Perl, and Shell Scripts
- Experience in software testing, quality assurance and systems validation
- Strong understanding of test methodology and software development/integration cycle
- Strong experience with scrum and agile software development methodologies
- Knowledge of web development using HTML, JavaScript and ASP.NET
- Knowledge of writing database SQL queries
- Familiarity with testing Embedded software on Linux Android/Windows/iOS platforms
- Familiarity with Windows/Linux/Android and driver development
- Familiarity with smartphones and tablets
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with demonstrated ability to multitask, manage details, and keep sight of overall objectives
- Excellent analytic and problem solving skills
